Anidris has developed a trusted portfolio in hybrid IT Infrastructure solutions. To sustain its successes, Anidris is currently looking for an Admin Linux / VMware, who will be mainly responsible for operating VMware and Linux technologies. He will support sales team as presales, design technical architectures, configure equipment and software to meet client business needs, trains the customer on the solution, and document the solution for ongoing support. The Admin will be part of an implementation team on large projects, as well as individually to deliver services for smaller projects or contribute to support.

Profile:

  • IT degree or equivalent is a must.
  • 1 to 5 years in a related environment.
  • Both hands-on & certifications of VMware and Linux products. 
  • Proven experience in automation and ansible scripting, puppet or python.
  • Strong knowledge of various infrastructure technologies such storage, SAN, LDAP, DNS.
  • Backup and archive skills will be an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality integration: ensure technical excellence in service delivery for customer satisfaction.
  • Provide telephone/remote/on-site support, troubleshoot technical problems with strong analyzing methods. Ability to interact proactively with the customer to resolve issues.
  • Communicate efficiently with customers & colleagues. Build a good internal and external working relationship.
  • Take ownership of issues, show professionalism internally and externally.
  • Develop and maintain a broad background in Anidris technical portfolio. Ensure high quality coverage and skills in technical areas.
  • Be able to quickly learn new technologies and products.

Skills:

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, efficient troubleshooting method is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Experience in technical project management during implementation phases is an asset.
  • Pre-sales, customer presentations and RFP handling skills are an advantage.
  • Submit activity reporting promptly, methodically and accurately.
  • Driving license mandatory.
  • English and French mandatory, German and Luxembourgish will be an asset.
