Anidris has developed a trusted portfolio in hybrid IT Infrastructure solutions. To sustain its successes, we are looking for a Linux DevOps Specialist, who will be responsible for operating VMware and Linux technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

As a Linux Specialist in our sales team, you'll handle presales, design technical architectures, configure equipment, and provide client training. Your role extends to working on large projects as part of a team or independently on smaller projects, all while actively contributing to the Service Team's dynamics. Beyond core responsibilities, you'll manage the integration of advanced technologies (in the Cloud or both as hybrid) participate in project activities and contribute to the development of quality assurance steps and technical standards.

You will be expected to:

  • Provide comprehensive telephone, remote, and on-site support, proactively troubleshooting technical issues to resolution.
  • Produce meticulous documentation, including work product documents, checklists, and training materials, enhancing service efficiency.
  • Develop technical standards and implementation procedures for new technologies. • Collaborate in project management when assigned a Project Manager role.
  • Foster effective communication with customers and colleagues, building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrate ownership and professionalism in issue resolution both internally and externally.
  • Cultivate a broad expertise in Anidris' portfolio and covered technical areas, adapting swiftly to new technologies.
  • Maintain timely and accurate activity reporting, detailing time breakdowns by activity.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
  • Experience in technical project management and demonstrated ability to take a project through all phases of implementation.
  • Pre-sales, customer presentations and RFP handling skills are an advantage.
  • Expect to be flexible and work at various client locations.
  • Fluent in French and English, German or Luxembourgish is considered as an asset

Expertise & Certifications

  • Both hands-on & certifications of VMware and Linux products
  • Proven experience with automation and scripting, using shell scripting, ansible, puppet or python
  • Strong knowledge of various infrastructure assets such storage, SAN, LDAP, DNS.
  • Backup and archive skills will be an asset.
